ZOLLANVARI RETURNS TO COVER CONNECT NEW YORK 2025 WITH NEW ARTISTIC HORIZONS
Zollanvari is set to make a triumphant return to COVER Connect New York, the premier annual trade fair for high-end rug brands, from September 13–15, 2025. For the fourth consecutive year, Zollanvari will be located at Booth M05 in the Metropolitan Pavilion, where it will present a stunning collection that celebrates the fusion of age-old craftsmanship and contemporary design.
This year’s showcase is a powerful testimony to the ingenuity of the artist, the intuitive savoir-faire of the weavers, and the enduring art of weaving itself. At the heart of the presentation is the featured artist for the show, Seattle-based designer Carmen Carbone Andonian. Driven by an unrelenting desire to innovate and surprise, Zollanvari will introduce her new masterwork, The Pacific Northwest Collection. Inspired by the region’s “dramatic mountain ranges, diverse waterscapes, countless islands, and four distinct seasons,” this collection resonates perfectly with Zollanvari’s overarching BACK TO NATURE campaign. The collection features five unique designs that evoke a sense of place and artistry: Rainier Flowers, Alki Beach, Columbia River, Palouse Autumn, and Neah Bay.

Zollanvari International will be participating in Maison&Objet from 5 to 9 September with a new exhibition design featuring the work of Hungarian designer Lőrincz V. Gabi, whose work is inspired by the play of light and shadow observed while walking; the designer often photographs these images or even makes a sketch to later transform into textile patterns. She says, "I am passionate about my profession... it fills me with excitement when a design is born from the threads under my hands". Her work can be seen in the Hungarian Consulate in Munich, the Aranybástya restaurant in Buda Castle and the lounge of ING Bank's headquarters on Dózsa György út.

We have set the date for our next In-House show which will take place from 7th to 11th October 2024 in our Embrach/Embraport (Zurich) showroom with some great special events:
We are delighted to annouce that there will be three speakers at our our In-House event in October: Karin Testa, a decorative painter/illustrator & interior designer at the family business Testa St Moritz. Her Greco-Roman designs are reminiscent of the award winning Trompe L'Oeil Collection created for us by SoFarSoNear Studio Milan. She joins Camilla Douraghy-Fischbacher, Creative Director of Fischbacher 1819 & Fine Art Photographer and Brais Rey of Turkestan Barcelona, completing our customary trio of speakers. And to top all this we have invited some of our nomadic weavers from the Zagros Mountain region to do a live weaving demonstration on a horizontal loom… making the event at Embrach this coming October unmissable!
